Fuel Cell Seminar & Exposition now approaching fast

17 October 2011

The 2011 Fuel Cell Seminar & Exposition (FCS&E) is taking place October 31 to November 3 at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Florida.

This year’s Fuel Cell Seminar & Exposition will provide a focal point for the industry to collaborate on fuel cell research, hear about the latest developments, and further advance the commercialization of fuel cell and hydrogen energy technologies.

The 2011 event is being organized by the South Carolina Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Alliance, in partnership with the Fuel Cell & Hydrogen Energy Association.

The conference program features sessions on SOFC system demonstrations and stack development, fuel cell modeling, PEM fuel cell component and development demonstrations, small fuel cell auxiliary power demonstrations, high temperature technologies, bipolar plates for PEM fuel cells, demonstrations and end user perspectives, military products, high temperature materials, fuel cell processing (civilian and military), fuel cell/battery hybrid power systems, commercialization, PEM membranes and components, fuel cell applications now, hydrogen production and delivery, PEM degradation, small vehicle fuel cell demonstration, hydrogen fueling, grid applications, hydrogen research and development, innovations in lower temperature fuel cells, transportation fuel cell demonstrations, fuel cell analytical measurements, and manufacturing.

The Expo is a major part of the event, with more than 60 exhibitors representing the full range of industry participants, from fuel cell developers to component manufacturers, research institutes and state initiatives.

The event kicks off on Monday October 31 with a one-day short course on fuel cell fundamentals and technology presented by leading fuel cell scientists from the National Fuel Cell Research Center at the University of California – Irvine, Toyota USA, Plug Power, and Ballard Power Systems.
