23 January 2012

REpower Systems will deliver 73 of its MM92 wind turbines rated at 2.05 MW for a 150 MW wind farm in Oklahoma, USA.

By Kari Williamson

The wind turbines are equipped with the Hot Climate Option (HCO) to ease operation during the dry, hot summer months in that region.

Delivery and initial operation of the wind turbines is planned for the third and fourth quarters of 2012.

Andreas Nauen, CEO of REpower Systems SE, says: "We are pleased to announce our second largest US project to date and supply the reliable MM92 turbines for what will be REpower’s first wind farm located in the south-central region of the country."
